Data stored on your device

Your saved instruments, compare list and tuner settings are stored only on your device (local storage). You can delete them at any time by clearing the app or browser data.

Microphone

The tuner uses your microphone only while it is running, to detect the pitch of the note you play. Audio is processed on your device in real time. It is never recorded, stored or transmitted.

Third-party content

Sound demos are embedded from YouTube (Google) in privacy-enhanced mode. When you play a video, YouTube may collect data according to Google’s privacy policy. Instrument photos may load from Wikimedia Commons. Price links open the store’s own website, which has its own privacy policy.

Children

Sound Examples is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
